Public Engagement

Public engagement in Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) is about co-creating the future with citizens and civil society organisations.

Public engagement is also about bringing on board the widest possible diversity of actors that would not normally interact with each other, on matters of science and technology.

Good examples of successful public engagment:

EUSEA - the European Science Events Association, dedicated to activities that promote science engagement.

ECSITE - The European Network of Science Centres and Museums, linking science communication professionals all over Europe and beyond.
