WP4 Visibility

The main objective of WP 4 is to improve the visibility of the Science with and for Society (SwafS) programme, thereby: providing SwafS applicants with funding opportunities regarding SwafS (topics) as a cross cutting issue in other parts of Horizon 2020; highlighting the importance of the SwafS dimensions for R&I policy for policy makers, SwafS stakeholders and SwafS NCPs; strengthening the interaction between the SiS.net3 network and SwafS stakeholders and policy makers; and deepening the competences of SwafS NCPs regarding the knowledge of the SwafS programme and the SwafS dimensions.

Visibility works on strengthening the visibility of the SwafS programme and the SwafS dimensions. These objectives will be achieved by five tasks which each tackle a specific aspect. Latest news, events and developments regarding SwafS will be communicated and disseminated (task 4.1). SwafS related funding opportunities in Horizon 2020 outside the SwafS programme will be highlighted (task 4.2). Exemplary stories of successful SwafS projects and their results and impact will be promoted (task 4.3). A SwafS dimension will be discussed in depth in a policy brief (task 4.4) and finally evidence about the integration of SwafS in policy agendas will be collected and its uptake will be fostered (task 4.5). The different activities will improve the presence of SwafS and SwafS NCPs, proposers, stakeholders, policy makers etc. will benefit.
