Task 5.4. External group for Science with and for Society dialogue

The goal of setting up an external expert group for the project, is to identify future trends and emerging areas for the Science with and for Society area, in order to provide NCPs group with the background and the latest information needed to properly advice proponents.

With this goal, an expert group has been created, including outstanding authorities for every of the dimension of Responsible Research and Innovation: public engagement, gender, science education, open access, ethics. Two face-to-face meetings with experts group are planned for the duration of the project, which will be held after an intense work online and a vast compilation of inputs from different sources. The task will be executed in close cooperation with Tasks 3.1, 4.1 and 5.1.

First Expert group meeting

The meeting was held in Madrid in December 2015.

Second Expert group meeting

During the second expert group meeting, which was held in Barcelona in April 2016, the group worked on the questions of the SwafS open consultation for work programme 2018-2020.
